You know what's sad?

When you try something different and you work really, really hard on it and you really love how it came out and you're so proud of it...only to have it be less popular than something that you're mostly known for drawing and don't like it's outcome as much.

Like, seriously, all the art that I do of anthro, human, my own original characters, etc are less popular than any piece of my sonic art.
It really makes me sad than whenever I do something different, it doesn't get the recognition I think it deserves. It makes me feel like not doing anything else but sonic art, which I really want to try other things but this is just making this harder on me.

Here, I'll show you what I mean.

Here's my most recent Splatoon fan work: 
I love how the whole thing came out and just generally love the drawing. But...it only got a few favourites and absolutely no comments at this moment.

While here's my most recent sonic fan work: 
It's not one of my most favourite works and I used to really hate this drawing when it was in sketch form. But it got a considerable amount of favourites and a good amount of comments. I even had some ask for a request on this drawing, which I don't do, but still.

What I'm saying is that I want some more recognition on my other works as well, not just my sonic art. I know some people are just watching me for my sonic art, but could you please give my other art a chance?
